Kurdistan.
In more
than one hundred twenty years, the Kurds tried to govern themselves. The dream
of Kurdistan gives an insight into and reflect drömenm of Kurdistan that it has
been expressed politically since the 1880s. How is the relationship between the
Kurdish dream and reality? In what ways and under what circumstances can the
dream be realized?

Emanuelsson doctorate in Peace and Development Research at Gothenburg
University in 2005 with a thesis on Kurdish political institutions in the
Diaspora. Khaled Salih PhD in political science at the University of Gothenburg
in 1996 with a dissertation on the Iraqi state and nation building. Between
2003 and 2010 he worked as an advisor to the Kurdistan Regional
government.
